Forgecore – Shut the Box

The lid flips open like a hardcover book, and it stays put while we play, which I didn't expect. My kids actually fight over who gets to close it up afterward, so that's a win.

The folding book design is genuinely clever, it sits on my shelf like a normal hardcover until game night. Took me about an hour to assemble and the wooden tiles flip smoothly. My kids ask for it way more than I expected.

I didn't expect the dice to store right inside the spine, that little detail makes it so easy to grab off the shelf. The build itself took an evening, and now it sits on my coffee table as a game people actually ask to play.
