Backgammon da Viaggio

The silly storytelling twist somehow made backgammon click for my 8-year-old, who usually bails on anything with actual strategy. We've played four nights straight, and the dice rolls get dramatic every time.

My kids actually ask to play this instead of their tablets now, which says a lot. The silly storytelling twist on classic backgammon keeps even my youngest engaged through a whole game.

I wasn’t sure how the storytelling twist would mesh with classic backgammon, but it turns the whole game into pure silliness—we were laughing before the first piece even landed. The dice rolls feel just as strategic as the original, so it’s not just chaos. We’ve already played three nights in a row.
