The button does all the twisting for you, which is honestly the only reason my daughter finishes a bracelet before losing interest. She's made four already, and the thread hasn't tangled once like it did with the old hand-twist kit.
My niece picked a template and had a finished bracelet in under five minutes, which honestly surprised me. The machine keeps the tension even, so the braid looks neat instead of lumpy like the ones we used to do by hand.
My 9-year-old figured out the template setup in about two minutes and cranked out four bracelets before dinner. The button-press start is what sold me — no hand-cranking like the kits we tried before.
