I've never been able to draw figures, so I went in expecting a mess and instead ended up with something that actually looks like dancers. The hexagon grid tells you exactly which module to use next, which kept me from second-guessing myself. Two evenings later it's framed on my desk.
The numbered hexagon system made this way easier than I expected — I just matched each shape and the dancers came together on their own. Took me about two evenings, and the finished grid actually looks like the painting.
