Forgecore – Sushi Schaken

The little nigiri and maki pieces snap together surprisingly well, and once assembled it plays like a normal chess set. My kids actually ask to play now just because the pieces look so good.

Building the set was half the fun—all those tiny sushi pieces snap together nicely and look surprisingly good on the board. Now every game night feels a little more playful.

The little rice-and-fish pieces actually feel nice to move around the board, and the knights are the cutest ones by far. My kids learned the rules faster because they kept wanting to play with the sushi.
