SPIROGRAPH MEESTERWERK – DE BLAUWE DANSSERS DOOR EDGAR DEGAS

I've never been able to draw figures, so I went in expecting a mess and instead ended up with something that actually looks like dancers. The hexagon grid tells you exactly which module to use next, which kept me from second-guessing myself. Two evenings later it's framed on my desk.

The numbered hexagon system made this way easier than I expected — I just matched each shape and the dancers came together on their own. Took me about two evenings, and the finished grid actually looks like the painting.

The numbered hexagon system made this way easier than I expected — I just matched each number to the right module and the blue dancers slowly appeared on the page. Ended up finishing the whole grid in one sitting, which I did not plan on.
