The magnetic stylus glides the beads up so smoothly that my 4-year-old can trace a whole letter without getting frustrated. She's been practicing her name on it instead of just scribbling, which is a small miracle.
My 3-year-old asks for this board every day after lunch, and she's already tracing the A and M on her own. The little metal beads pop back down with a swipe of the stylus, so there's nothing to erase or lose. Best part is she's learning letter shapes without me hovering.
The magnetic stylus pulls each letter's beads up with a satisfying click, and my daughter traces the whole alphabet without me nagging her. Nice that it's just the uppercase set, since that's what her preschool focuses on first.
